I lördags patchades (Build 8714) Wotlk-betan, där det mesta handlade om klassändringar för mages och shamaner. Hoppas det inte är långt kvar till att capen höjs från 77 till 80!
Mages
Arcane Fortitude moved to tier 2, increased to 3 ranks, now increases armor equal to 50/100/150% of Intellect.
Arcane Subtlety now reduces the chance your spells will be dispelled by 15/35%, and no longer reduces the resistance of targets.
Arctic Reach now also affects Deep Freeze.
Blast Wave now knocks all affected targets back.
Elemental Precision moved to tier 2.
Empowered Fireball reduced to 3 ranks, now increases damage by 5/10/15% of spell power.
Empowered Frostbolt reduced to 2 ranks, increases damage by 5/10% of spell power and increases critical hit chance by 2/4%.
Flame Throwing moved to tier 3.
Frost Channeling now reduces mana cost of all spells by 4/7/10%.
Frost Warding now increases armor and resistances of Frost/Ice Armor by 25/50%, now gives Frost Ward and Fire Ward a 15/30/5 chance to negate damage caused and restore mana equal to damage caused by the warded spell.
Ice Floes renamed Cold as Ice, now reduces cooldown of Cold Snap, Ice Barrier, Summon Water Elemental, and Deep Freeze by 10/20%.
Improved Counterspell now always silences the target for 2/4 seconds.
Improved Fire Blast moved to tier 1, reduced to 2 ranks, reduces the cooldown by 1/2 seconds.
Improved Flamestrike moved to tier 2, renamed World in Flames, now increases the critical hit chance of Flamestrike, Blast Wave, Dragon’s Breath, Living Bomb, Blizzard, and Arcane Explosion by 2/4/6%.
Improved Frost Nova renamed Ice Floes, moved to tier 1, increased to 3 ranks, now reduces cooldown of Frost Nova, Cone of Cold, Ice Block, and Icy Veins by 7/14/20%.
Magic Absorption reduced to 2 ranks, increases resistances by .5/1 point per level, and restores 1/3% of total mana on a resist.
Master of Elements now affects all spell criticals.
Mind Mastery reduced to 3/6/9/12/15%.
Molten Shields now gives Fire Ward and Frost Ward spells a 15/30% chance to reflect the warded spell.
Prismatic Cloak (Arcane) increased to 3 ranks for 1/2/3% and now also reduces the fade time of Invisibility by 1/2 seconds.
Pyroblast cast time has been reduced to 5 seconds.
Shatter no longer has a prerequisite.
Shamans
Flametongue Weapon: Now has a passive spell damage.
Nature’s Blessing no longer increases spell damage from Intellect, and the effect has been reduced to 5/10/15% from 10/20/30%. This is in result of the new spell power system.
Players should notice little to no change in the power of the spell relevant to healing spells.
New Talent: Tidal Force- Increases the critical effect chance of your Healing Wave, Lesser Healing Wave and Chain Heal by 60%. Each critical heal reduces the chance by 20% and lasts 20 seconds.
Stoneclaw Totem: Health of the Stoneclaw totem is increased by 5% of the Shaman’s total health.
The range of all “friendly totems” has been increased to 30 yards, up from 20.
Totemic Mastery talent removed and replaced with “Tidal Force”.
PvP
Arenas
Buffs that have 30 seconds or less remaining will be removed once the game starts. However, the mage spell “Invisibility” is not affected by this change

Idag gick Wryxian ut med en trevlig ändring kring mounts och husdjur i Wrath of the Lich King, dessa kommer nämligen inte längre ta upp platser i din ryggsäck.
We’re pleased to announce a convenient upgrade to the way that mounts and vanity pets are handled in Wrath of the Lich King.
Players will be able to “learn” a mount or non-combat pet much like learning a spell, recipe, or new ability, and these creatures will then show up on a new Pet tab within the Character Info section of the interface. Players will be able to access and preview their learned mounts and vanity pets through this tab.
Once learned, the pet icon or mount icon will no longer appear in bag spaces or bank spaces. This inventory space will be made available once again for other adventuring needs. Pets can still be set to hotkeys by dragging them to the hotkey bar, much like any other spell or ability.  |

De första bilderna och filmerna från Death Knights som stigit ett par levels har börjat trilla in. Och det är minst sagt underhållande att beskåda.
Även om Sunwell med M'uru och Kil'Jaeden var perfekt balanserade utan att testas på Ptr, så betyder det inte att Blizzard alltid framöver kommer lyckas på första försöket. Det kan vi inte minst se i de senaste filmer som lagts upp på en Death Knight som levlar i Eastern Plaguelands och Hellfire Peninsula
Den ena Death Knighten är speccad i Unholy-trädet, och kan plocka på sig fyra-fem monster och döda dem på 30 sekunder. Visst, det kan många klasser - "problemet" med Death Knighten är bara att deras Runic power återhämtas i nästan Energy-fart, snarare än Mana-fart.
Som Jadefury, mannen bakom filmerna, skrivit:Leveling in outland by AOE grinding with Corpse explosion + Death and Decay. This method shows just how powerful the vendetta and butchery talents are. Pay close attention to the health bar, and my runic power bar as I AOE grind. I can typically end up with more of each than I started with.  I den andra filmen levlar densamme som Blood, där han vid ett tillfälle drar på sig en elite-Abomination och inte förlorar mer än 5% hp på de tjugo sekunder det tar för honom att döda den.
Underhållande? Javisst. Balanserat? Kan diskuteras!
Inte nog med att Death Knighten i sitt nuvarande tillstånd kan gå extremt fort upp i level - alla abilities och spells den använder är otroligt snygga och färggranna. Samtidigt får man intrycket av att Death Knighten är en riktigt förbannad klass och att du inte bör närma dig den om du inte vill gå en plågsam död tillmötes.
Det kommer med stor sannolikhet bli precis så som Nyhm sjöng: A Death Knight Spree...

Hunting Party 5 pt talent

Your critical shots have a 20% chance to restor 2% mana, 10 energy, 4 rage or 10 runic power to all members of your party. This effect has a 8 second cooldown

Det ser ut som om att Death Knights kommer att få egna vapen enchants i Wrath of the Lich King. Detta går under namnet Runeforging. Två exempel på vad du kan få ut från detta är :
Rune of Lichbane (Bild) - Affixes your rune weapon with a rune that has a chance to strike undead for extra Fire damage and stun them for 5 sec. Modifying your rune weapon requires a Rune Forge in Ebon Hold.
Rune of the Fallen Crusader (Bild) - Affixes your rune weapon with a rune that has a chance to heal you for 3% and increase total Strength by 30% for 15 sec. Modifying your rune weapon requires a Rune Forge in Ebon Hold.
